The Katherine B. Wilson Staff Excellence Fund
BHN established the Katherine B. Wilson Staff Excellence Fund to support the career and development of our workforce and to assist in achieving Social Justice objectives. Through community partnerships, valuable in-kind services, and generous donations, BHN supports a variety of professional development opportunities for staff that include license preparation courses and fees, forgivable loans for tuition costs, community college courses and certificate programs, online and live trainings, and more!

"The Staff Excellence Fund helped me cover the costs of the licensing process. Now, with the Juvenile Court Clinic, I have the chance to further develop myself as a forensic evaluator while working with my preferred population. I am grateful for the opportunity to work for an agency that shows it cares about its employees, offers different supports, services, and gestures of appreciation."
Coralys Santiago-Gonzalez, Clinical Psychologist, Juvenile Court Clinics

"The Staff Excellence Fund supported my professional growth by helping me pursue educational and development opportunities without the added financial burden. It increased my confidence, helped me continue developing my skills, and motivated me to keep growing professionally while contributing more effectively to my work."
Sanders Voltaire, Direct Care, Residential Services

"I was awarded the funds needed to apply for my LADC 1 exam, which I was unable to contribute personally due to financial constraints. I had been waiting for three years to apply. This support enables me to meet BSAS requirements to maintain my employment as a clinical supervisor."
Pamela Dumas, Clinical Supervisor at Cole’s Place
