The Sr. HR Generalist at Behavioral Health Network will administer all processes related to the Affordable Care Act (ACA) regulations, including tracking, record keeping and ensuring compliance.  They will support the Benefits Manager in preparing, maintaining and auditing all ACA required recordkeeping by keeping accurate records pertaining to each eligible employee’s stability period and administrative period.  Performs follow-up to ensure ACA waivers are returned in a timely manner for those waiving medical coverage. Annually (January – March) reviews 1095C forms for accuracy, and mails annual 1095C forms to applicable employees. Assists with the reporting requirements needed to e-file with the IRS by the designated timeframe each calendar year.

Assisting with major benefits-related projects, responding to benefits inquiries, compiling statistics and completing surveys will be part of the Sr. Generalist’s tasks.  This position will also audit monthly health, dental and voluntary insurance bills against payroll deductions, deduction registers and insurance bills.  The Sr. Generalist will conduct quarterly audits of insurance bills in conjunction with the Benefits Representative.   The Sr. Generalist will be responsible for entering employer paid benefit deduction codes into the HRIS for all full-time staff on a weekly basis.

Job Requirements

The Sr. HR Generalist at Behavioral Health Network has the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources or related field (required).
  • 3-5 years of experience with ACA regulations and benefits administration (required).
  • Benefit plan knowledge (required).
  • Knowledge of Kronos HRIS system (preferred).
  • Excellent organizational skills, time management skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in an environment with frequent interruptions.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Exceptional problem solving, oral, written and interpersonal communication.
