Join our team of competent and compassionate professionals as a Clinical Supervisor in the Carlson Recovery Center program at Behavioral Health Network! 

Use your experience, knowledge, and skills to support the Carlson Recovery Center by:

  • Overseeing the CRC counseling and case management program
  • Providing individual and group supervision to a team of counselors/case managers
  • Monitoring the development and implementation of person-centered treatment plans
  • Overseeing comprehensive case management and discharge planning services
  • Working with the Program Director and colleagues to maximize cross discipline collaboration and communication with nursing and direct care staff
  • Ensuring timely completion of clinical  documentation with the goal of providing well-documented, high quality team-based treatment
  • Overseeing 4-5 hours of daily recovery, health, and wellness programming on the unit
  • Monitoring adherence to licensing regulations and standards of care through routine chart reviews, formal and informal supervision, monthly training and professional development for staff.
Job Requirements

What are we looking for in a Clinical Supervisor?

  • Commitment to empowerment and growth, human rights, and community integration for individuals served (required). 
  • Must be LADC I or LADCII or equivalent (required). Equivalent is defined as: completed a Master’s Degree in one of the following disciplines or a closely related field: clinical psychology, education/counseling, medicine, psychology, psychiatric nursing, rehabilitative counseling, social work, and experience in substance abuse and mental health services.
  • At least three years of experience in substance use treatment (required).
  • At least one year of supervisory experience (required).
  • Bilingual in Spanish & English (strongly preferred).
  • A working knowledge of DPH’s Bureau of Substance Addiction Services (BSAS) regulations.
  • Familiarity with and proficiency in the use of technology:  Word, Excel, Zoom, electronic health record, etc.
  • Experience working with adults with co-occurring substance use and mental health dual diagnoses.
  • Knowledge of Insurance and Utilization reviews.


In accordance with the BHN Mandatory COVID vaccine policy - all staff, interns, temps, residents and contractors are required to be fully vaccinated no later than day one of employment. Medical or religious exemptions will be offered and must be approved prior to starting work.
